If only…

In every girl’s dream, we would always dream of having a guy in your life who would be able to cook and whip up a decent meal for you. Likewise, I share this similar dream as many others.

Being someone who loves food, I do enjoy cooking during free time and of course, the process of cooking and eating the food is just a joy. However, the cleaning up doesn’t seems much of a joy.

Of course, I really do wish that someone could actually whip up a meal for me and if he knew how to bake. I’ll love him to bits. I’m serious!

Anyway, I’m just daydreaming like I usually do…it’ll only happen in my dreams because I have no luck…

Baby Seng’s 19th!

It was Baby Seng aka Si Hui’s 19th birthday and we had actually planned up a surprise for her with a surprise present,card,wishes and a birthday cake!

So, on a thursday, we had to meet up to go out to Tampines to shop for her birthday pressie.

And we had a hard time looking for the perfect gift for her, until Emrys suggested on a BIKINI!

I was heads on for it, but Weiyi wasn’t and it was a hard time convincing her that bikini would be the best gift for her before we went in to Sheer Romance!

There was alot of bikinis hung there, and they were in floral prints! I was so tempted to get one set for myself…but NOOO! No extra expenditure PLEASE!

Then, we bought the set of bikini for her and went to Daiso to get a pretty PINK box for her!

And bought a box of ribbon to make a birthday card for her!

I sew the ribbon sash into a flower!

And I hand-sewn a pearl to it! Looks so pretty right?^^

Pretty right? I made it all by myself!

Well, in relation to the previous post of going back Kota Tinggi, Malaysia for the wedding…

I did spend some quality time in my kampong and being a thick skin person, I requested my sister to take some photos of me with the pretty kampong as the backdrop so that I’ll have photos to blog and share with everyone!

A Big Event in our Big Family

The big family does not refers to the family I have currently in Singapore. It refers to the family in Malaysia.

I know you would be confused by which family am I talking about and why do I have so many family.

Well, to make it simple, my father is from Singapore and my mother is from Malaysia. Sadly, I’m locally born. Thus, I have 2 families, one from my paternal side which is in Singapore and the other from my maternal side which is from Malaysia.

Perhaps it’s clearer now…still, if you do not understand then just ignore it.

So, I went back to Malaysia for the BIG BIG event that was about to be held.

Well, it’s a wedding! It’s been years since my family had a wedding event and of course, I was so excited about it!

Now let me tell you more about the couple: the groom is my uncle to be exact (according to the chinese way of classifying the generation and naming them) and the bride is obviously someone I’m not quite close with.
