Sun, Sand, Sea!

We decided to head to Sentosa during this end semester break!

And although the sun that day wasn’t really that sunny and hot at all, more of cloudy and about to rain weather, my suntanning plan actually had to foil because there was no sun…*SIGHS*

But, still we had so much fun there!ImageI was waiting for the train…

It’s Tea Time!

I’ve been craving for some nice hot cup of tea with some milk, so I’ve decided to make myself a cup!Image

 Hot water with Dilmah English Breakfast Tea, my favourite!

There’s my favourite Lotus Biscuits!

Baking Session In Progress

A boring thursday, had nothing else to do, no outings, nor work, and so, I’ve decided to bake!

And, I’ve decided to try out this: Betty Crocker Supermoist White Cake Mix!

Image

But, it didn’t turn out to be great or fantastic, because the mix was so hard to mix in after adding water, egg and oil, it just happen to not turn out right for the million times I’ve tried.

And most of it, my cupcakes turn out to be super sticky and clumpy. It just didn’t work that well as compared to another brand I’ve used previously…

ImageHere’s the failed Instagram photo of the cupcake using Betty Crocker Supermoist White Cake Mix!

I really dislike their cake mix though…

ImageSince, I’ve decided not to continue on with making cupcakes, I’ve decided to alter the box recipe a little, by adding in lots more of cake mix to turn it into a cookie dough! Not only that, I added in some chocolate rice and sliced dried cranberry bits in it…

ImageI know it kind of looks digusting, I actually coated the cookie dough with sieved icing sugar, as I wanted to tried making sugar coated cookies! So,here’s BATCH 1!

ImageCaution: It’s hot!

So, the cookies came out tasting really crunchy and tasty, but as for the appearance wise, it looks like it’s spammed with white mould!

ImageHere’s the BATCH NO.2! I used bunny shaped cookie cutter to cut the dough and this time, I’ve decided to not have any sugar coating for it!

LOOKS CUTE!~

Image

Image

Don’t the bunnies look cute after they are out from the oven?

YUMMMZ!~

~~~~~
So, I suppose the leftover cake mix were still use-able as for cookie recipes. And, who wants some crunchy, yummy Bunny Chocolate & Cranberry Cookies?
Post-Exam Outing with the girls!♥
Today, the 4 of us decided to go out on an outing, which start from a lunch at Table Manners at the New Changi City Point and then followed by shopping at Bugis Street!
ImageOut of the blue, I’ve decided to put on my eye-liner today! I drew the cat-eye style! 🙂
ImageThe interesting setting of the table~
ImageThis is what I’ve ordered: 2 Carbohydrate & 1 Protein which includes Caesar Salad, Spicy Aglio Olio and Pan Seared Fish Fillet with Pesto Sauce.
Overall, I think other than most of the food contains green vegetables and herbs that was disastrous with my braces, the food was tasty and decent, especially the Spicy Aglio Olio, it’s aromatic and yummy.ImageThis is what my friend ordered, Spicy Aglio Olio, Caesar Salad, Beer Battered Fish Fillet.
ImageThis is what another friend of mine ordered, Truffle Fries, Buttered Mash Potato and Grilled Chicken Breast with Chicken Gravy.
ImageAfter which, we also added another $2.50 for the dessert of the day. It looks like macaroon, but it doesn’t taste like it. It was super sweet, and had a strong coconut flavour.
~~~~~

After our lunch at Table Manners, we headed off to Bugis Street where we shopped and as usual the aunties and those people “punching” my bag, and pushing me around, like they were going to 杀猪!

During the shopping itself, we met Pearlyn shopping with her mum at Bugis, haunting for clothes as well, and after which, we met Kaiyun who was also at Bugis area after her job training. We also had Koi as our shopping tea break! AWESOMEee~

And then, after all the shopping was done, we headed to Bugis Junction to take some snapshots for memory before leaving off for home…

ImageOur crazy shot of the 5 of us!

A really pretty shot of us!

ImageWe wore the same top out today, and received lots of unwanted attractions along the way! xD

ImageAnd now, I’ve come to the end of today’s outing!

Really thanks to Kaiyun’s awesome camera that allowed us to camwhore, and took really nice pictures! 😀

Till next time  ….

Daiso’s Blusher in Beige

Daiso's Blusher in Beige

The blusher claims that the colour is in beige, but obviously, one look at it, it’s somewhat pink.

The blusher is excellent for a $2 cosmetic, for it’s easy to apply and it’s visible and highlights your cheek making you more rosy and brilliant.

The downside of this is that the brush does not really picks up the powder well, so you might have to either get a new brush or use your own.

I really like this, so I would give it a 3.8/5 because it does not have any irritations on my highly sensitive eczema skin.

Daiso’s Duo Eyeliner

Daiso's Duo Eyeliner

This duo eyeliner comes in black and white or other variations like brown and white, etc…

The retractable eyeliner may be suitable for beginners who are still practising and perfecting their drawing eye lines skill but it’s not really suitable for wearing it out because the white eye line stick is hard to use and barely have any visible effects after application and you have to go over the line a few times for it to show.

And the same goes for the black eye line stick, both are rather hard, not smooth for application.

Basically, I would not really recommend you to purchase this.

Daiso’s Concealer

Daiso's Concealer

There’s actually 2 tones of concealer for you to choose from.

It does really basic and simple coverage, not very good though, if you really want to cover freckles or other dark spots, you would need to apply a whole lot of it onto that particular spot and your face would not look that smooth after that because it sort of highlights your other bumps on your face.

On Overall, I would maybe give it a 2.5/5 for this concealer, for it does not does wonders.

Liese Bubble Hair Color-Sweet Pink

For CNY this year, I’ve decided to dye my hair using Liese Bubble Hair Color, Sweet Pink. Formally, I’ve tried Liese Chestnut Brown and Platinum Beige.

I still keep the boxes though. Hahaha!

Today, I’m trying this sweet pink colour! I hope it’ll turn out well and my hair will be reddy or pinky:)

So, here are the contents that you can find inside the box …

And here’s the mixture of the dye…

This is the colour of my hair before the dye. Originally, it has the colour of Platinum Beige but I suppose the colour has faded quite a lot, leaving me with just brown hair …

I’m wearing my free cape from Liese! I got this cape when I bought Chestnut Brown and I really love the cape as it prevents my clothes from getting stained:)

I wore the gloves…and I’m ready to start dye-ing my hair!

I changed the cap to the nozzle …

Bubbles, bubbles and lots of pink bubbles!

Ok, I look hideous in this photo! But check out the foamy foamy dye on my hair! It’s pink! ♥

Tadaaa! This is my hair colour after washing the dye off! It doesn’t look really pink or red though but I got a much lighter brown shade for my hair. Maybe the colour might look a little different under sunlight?

My hair looks pretty dry and crisp after the dye as usual, and the colour were much lighter near my roots than the ends. It was a little uneven though, I wonder why, but this usually happens to Liese hair-dyes…

Anyway, I’m going to try the new Hoyu BeautyLabo the next time I dye my hair again! Or maybe not, I might want to go to a salon and highlight my hair purple!

But, I’m still satisfied and contented with the hair colour now! Woohoo!~
